Victoria Tang, MD completed medical school, Internal Medicine residency, and a Geriatrics fellowship at the University of Texas ? Southwestern in Dallas. She is passionate about providing outstanding care to older adults in her role as an attending physician on the Acute Care of Elders (ACE) Unit at the San Francisco VA Medical Center and in the Geriatric Medicine Clinic. She also provides geriatric assessments for the Center for Surgery in Older Adults with the goal of maximizing older surgical patients? functional outcomes and quality of life. In addition, Dr. Tang is currently a VA Quality Scholars Fellow pursuing advanced training in healthcare quality. She is also a Geriatrics Research Fellow pursuing a Master's degree in clinical research at UCSF with a specialization in implementation science. Dr. Tang?s research program focuses on improving the quality of care provided to hospitalized older adults.
