    Biography

    Elliazar Enriquez is a Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse in the current role of surgery packet coordinator who mainly assists in screening and gathering pre-operative patient clinical data in the Bariatric Surgery Center. He also provides assistance in day to day clinical operations and provides critical healthcare navigation pathways for all bariatric patients seen at UCSF General Surgery.

    Elliazar graduated from City College of San Francisco’s Licensed Vocational Nursing program. Awarded as the Best All-Around Nurse, and Team Leader throughout the length of the educational program. He had extensive training in various medical settings where an LVN is highly utilized such as, San Francisco General Hospital – Ward, Laguna Honda Skilled Nursing Facility, and St. Luke’s Hospital – sub acute unit.

    Prior to being part of UCSF General Surgery – Bariatric team, Elliazar worked as the Sr. LVN Supervisor in the Rheumatology/Arthritis & Nephrology department. There he received training in leading the frontlines and learned valuable clinical operations management skills in which he is now currently carrying over to the expanding bariatric surgery program.
